What is ADR?
ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) is an alternative method of dispute resolution, through which consumers and traders can resolve disputes outside of court, in a fast, inexpensive, and efficient manner.
How does it work?
ADR relies on the intervention of a neutral entity that proposes or imposes a solution on the parties. The Directorate for Alternative Dispute Resolution within ANPC is competent to settle disputes between consumers and traders out of court.
Advantages of the procedure:
- Accessibility: The procedure is free for the consumer.
- Speed: The resolution period is generally a maximum of 90 days.
- Fairness: Solutions are provided by impartial legal experts.
